Once again we tried at two feeders this morning--one in our forestry site and one at the agricultural college. Near perfect weather--cool at first with cloud cover and no wind. the college site produced around 40 new birds with highlights-Brambling 1, Starling 2, Goldfinch 11, Greenfinch 11, Redpoll 1, Chaffinch 4.

The forestry site came up with 35 new birds, with 22 Redpoll as the highlight. The supporting cast included Chaffinch 5, Coal tit 4, Siskin 1 and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
