We set out this morning full of hope, with very light SE wind forecast, and a decent mixed tit/warbler flock seen the previous night. Unfortunately, very little materialised and we struggled to eventually ring 34 new birds, of which 6 were Chiffs, 3 Willow warbs, 3 Reed warbs, a few bits and bobs thena the season's first Lesser Whitethroat.Fingers crossed that we will come up trumps soon
