Most action has been in gardens and feeding stations this week--with more birds appearing as natural supplies run out. This morning saw a small team trying a new feeding station which we suspected could be good. It was superb! In just a couple of hours we caught 118 new birds, made up of: 13 Great Tit, 8 Blue Tit, 3 Robin, 2 Goldcrest, 1 Great Spot Woodpecker, 2 Reed Bunting, but with the 'cream' of 12 Siskin, 34 Coal Tit and a staggering 43 Redpoll.

To add potential excitement we had Green Woodpecker, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and Crossbill calling in the area.
